Cerebral Palsy Scotland

“Without the help of funders and donors like Merchant House, Cerebral Palsy Scotland simply wouldn’t have been able to provide urgent help and information to all who have needed support.

As the pandemic took hold, they immediately moved to remote working and providing expert consultations using the NHS Attend Anywhere system. In July, Cerebral Palsy Scotland were able to begin a COVID safe in-person service again. This has become CP Connect. The service is flexible, lighter touch, quick response and operates on a ‘virtual first’ model. Working in this way has meant that they have been able to support people wherever they are, and support them directly at home. 50 children and families, and 46 adults with cerebral palsy from across Scotland have benefited from individual, tailored support”.
